GROK IMAGINE / GPLAYER

Grok image & video downloader for iPhone

Download your own Grok Imagine creations into GPlayer. Batch download images and videos, retrieve available prompts, and organize a local collection on iPhone or iPad.

Prepare your own account

Sign in to your own Grok account in a browser and export the cookies for grok.com in Netscape cookies.txt or JSON format. Save that file in Files where your iPhone or iPad can access it. This is an account session file, not a Grok API key. Keep it private; never upload it to this website or attach it to public feedback.

On a computer, the app guide describes exporting with Get cookies.txt LOCALLY from the Chrome Web Store: sign in to grok.com, export cookies for that site, then transfer the export to Files. Import the export itself for an account download. The example below contains placeholders only and cannot authenticate.

Import the configuration into GPlayer

Open Download Files in GPlayer. In the Cookies selector, open Manage, then import your exported configuration file. Select the imported account instead of Demo. You can rename configurations and replace an expired file in Manage Configuration Files.

Batch download Grok images and videos

Choose how much of the account collection to retrieve: a page limit, one of the offered page ranges, or All. Narrow the request by creation date when needed. Choose between one and six concurrent downloads; the default is three. The available results depend on your account and the service response.

Enable Download Images to include images alongside videos. Enable Fetch Prompts if you want GPlayer to request available prompt text separately. Prompt retrieval takes additional time and a prompt may not be available for every item. Optionally add the downloaded items to the download playlist for easier browsing.

Retrieve video and related-image prompts while watching

You can try retrieving prompts later even if Fetch Prompts was off during download. The video’s own prompt and the prompts of its related input images are separate information.

  1. Open your downloaded Grok Imagine video in GPlayer. Tap the picture to show the playback controls.
  2. Open More → Video Info in the player.
  3. Tap … at the top right of the information page. Choose Fetch Prompt Again for the video’s prompt, or Fetch Related Image Prompts for the associated images’ prompts. Wait for the result and review the corresponding section.

These actions require a local item with valid Grok source information. An arbitrary imported video may not offer them, and related-image retrieval is available only for eligible videos in standard access mode. The service may return no prompt or only some related-image prompts. If authorization fails, follow the app’s account-selection prompt or update the account configuration and retry. Missing prompt text does not mean the video download failed.

Screenshot examples use a staged local demo record and illustrative prompt text. They show the real app interface, not a successful request to a real Grok account.

Save retrieved prompts to the built-in notebook

Retrieving text stores it with the media information; adding it to the notebook is a separate action.

  1. In Prompt or Related Image Prompts, tap the … button beside the text, then choose Save Prompt. Save each section separately.
  2. Check the save feedback. The related-image prompts are combined into one text entry and linked to the current video. Identical text reuses an existing entry and adds the media link instead of creating a duplicate.
  3. Open Prompts to view the entry, edit its text or title, and add tags. Open an entry’s linked media to return to the video.

Prompts Guide

Download Grok videos to iPhone and review the results

Start the task and keep GPlayer in the foreground. Review the downloaded, skipped and failed counts and open the resulting local media. Existing downloaded files are skipped rather than downloaded again. If the app pauses a task in the background, return and start again to continue; check failures and logs before retrying.

Grok image backup: keep a second copy

Downloading gives you a local collection inside GPlayer. To keep an additional copy, package selected media as ZIP or use the backup workflow with your own destination. Check the archive or destination before removing originals. ZIP media archives and library backups have different scopes; follow their guides for what is included.

Grok Imagine downloader: questions and answers

If authorization expires, export a fresh Cookie file and replace the old configuration. If items are missing, check page and date limits, the Download Images option, and the task results. Fetch Prompts adds a separate retrieval step; missing text is not proof that the media download failed. GPlayer is independent of Grok and xAI. Availability can change with the service. This page explains the app; it is not an online downloader and never asks you to submit cookies.

Can I use GPlayer as a Grok video downloader?

Yes. Import your own account configuration in the app to download the available videos you created in Grok Imagine, then play and organize them locally. This website does not download files for you.
